What’s unique about Lexington Mini-Storage?
We’re proud to serve the Lexington community since 1999. We offer two locations for your storage needs, as well as climate-controlled storage units. These storage units are perfect for storing items sensitive to heat and will help preserve your items better than a traditional storage unit.
When can I access my storage unit?
Customers at Lexington Mini-Storage have access to their storage space 365 days a year between the hours of 6 AM and 10 PM. In order to provide our customers with an enhanced level of security, we do not to remain open 24 hours.
Do you have moving and/or packing supplies on site?
Yes, we have a variety of moving and packing supplies at both facilities. Please click the Storage Supplies tab above or call either Lexington Mini-Storage location for details.
Do you accept deliveries for business customers?
Yes, we gladly accept deliveries. Ask our managers for details.
What kind of payment is accepted?
We accept major credit and debit cards, checks, cash, and money orders.
Can I pay in advance? What if I move out of my storage unit early?
Yes, you may pay up to one (1) year in advance as you wish. If you choose to terminate your lease, you will be completely refunded for any unused months.
What features do you have that help protect my items in storage?
Both storage facilities are completely fenced and gated and are well-lit. Customers use their own lock and key and each customer is given a unique code to gain access to the facility. Our gate access systems feature an activity log which records activity. We made a conscious decision to close our facilities overnight rather than remain open 24 hours a day in order to provide our customers a more shielded environment.
Do I have to sign a long term lease?
Absolutely not! Our leases are month to month and you are not obligated beyond one month at a time.
Do I have to pay a deposit or “set-up” fees?
No, Lexington Mini-Storage does not require customers to pay a deposit or any other hidden charges disguised as “set-up fees.”
What size units are available?
We have storage units available ranging in size from 5′ x 5′, to 10′ x 40′.

Do you offer climate control?
Yes, we absolutely offer the best climate control for your storage needs.
How can I decide what size storage unit to rent?
If you need help determining the size you need, please contact our rental office and one of our storage professionals will be happy to assist you. Or you can use our Storage Calculator to determine your ideal size.
How do I access the storage facilities?
Your own access code will be issued and you will key it in at the entrance gate. Only current customers may access the storage facilities. Lexington Mini-Storage has locks available in the rental office or you may provide your own.
How long do I have to sign up for?
We offer month to month leases, meaning no long-term contracts or commitments.
Do you give me a key?
You are the only one who has access to your storage unit. You may purchase a high quality lock at our office (specially designed for self storage use) or you can provide your own.
Do you offer a mover?
We offer FREE use of our moving truck at move-in. Please contact the facility for full details. We would also be more than happy to recommend a local reliable mover.
Do you sell locks, packing and moving supplies?
Yes, we sell high quality locks with a Lifetime Warranty at a discounted price! We also offer boxes and moving supplies.
What sizes do you have and how much do they cost?
We have a wide variety of unit sizes to meet your needs. Unit sizes and prices vary by location. Please visit our facility pages or contact one of our Storage Professionals for available sizes and prices.
