Write down recipes and tape them to your cupboards for easy access.
Skip the peeling. If you are going to boil potatoes at some point, you can skip the peeling (we all love peeling potatoes, right?). Simply boil the potatoes with the skin on, then immediately put them in ice-cold water. The peels should then come off easily.
Quick chilled beer. Wet a paper towel, wrap warm beer bottles, then put them in the refrigerator.
Crockpot as a bartender. use a crockpot to keep your favorite thanksgiving day beverage warm (apple cider, mulled cider, mulled wine). This way, you need not spend extra time keeping your beverages warm.
Grate the butter. The best way to get flaky biscuits or pie crusts is to cut frozen butter in (instead of melting it or thawing it). Grating frozen butter is significantly easier than cutting it into your dough.
