Repurpose Your Kiddie Pool

As the summer months begin to wind down, you may be wondering what you can do with that “kiddie pool” that keeps your children so easily entertained.  No worries, Lexington Mini Storage has some unique tips and tricks to get the most out of your children’s pool.

• Instead of just throwing the kiddie pool in the yard, consider digging a portion of your yard up and making it an “in ground” pool.  You can landscape with some pavers around the pool.  Then, after summer ends, you can take the pool out and have fire pit!
• Or, instead of making a fire pit, you can just fill the pool with sand for a cheap but fun sandbox.
• You can also make your kiddie pool a giant bubble builder, and use a hula-hoop to make out-of-this-world bubbles!
• A kiddie pool can make a great addition to themed birthday parties or play dates: fill the pool with dirt and miniature gold pieces to “mine for gold,” or fill the pool with water balloons for the ultimate water balloon fight!
