Labor Day Weekend Warrior

Labor Day will be here before you know it.  This summer has flown by, and Lexington Mini Storage wants to make sure you get the most out of your holiday weekend!  If you’re staying home for the long weekend, it’s the opportune time to get some of those home projects done that you can never find the time to cross off your honey-do list.

1. Paint a room or two.  If your living room is starting to look a little too worn in, a fresh coat of paint will give your room a new mood.
2. Take the time to protect your patio or driveway by having it sealed.  This will ensure that your concrete or aggregate will have a longer life!
3. Create a garden or preserve the one you have now.   Planting herbs is a great way to save you money.  It adds some kick to your dinner and some pizzazz to your sense of smell.  If you already have a few herbs growing in your garden, take the time to make them last into the wintertime.  Just take an ice tray and fill it up with your herbs and some olive oil and leave it in the freezer!  Now you can have fresh herbs with dinner even though it’s not in season.
