Holiday Storage Tips

The holidays are a long ways off, but it might be time to think about how you can store your decorations so they will be easier to find and put up in your home.  Lexington Mini-Storage has a few tips for holiday storage: 

Glue plastic cups to a piece of cardboard, put your ornaments in, and stack them easily in a storage bin or cardboard box.

Store Christmas lights on squares of cardboard or wrap them around old wrapping paper rolls.

Use clothing hangers to store lights (this also prevents them from getting tangled).

Store wrapping paper rolls from hanging from the ceiling of your closet (a great use for a typically unused space!).

Repurpose your trash can for wrapping paper storage.
